To mark our agency’s 20th anniversary, we created this retro endless runner. We wanted to celebrate the anniversary in a humorous way and take a trip back to a time when the internet was still ‘uncharted territory’. In keeping with our former motto ‘The eye surfs along’, players had to manoeuvre the first Netigo mascot through the pitfalls of the digital landscape and dodge viruses, bugs and adverts for as long as possible. For every coin collected in the game, we donated 25 cents to the Regenbogenland children’s hospice, a charity we have supported for a long time, for a good cause. A total of around 1,500 euros was raised. The retro anniversary game was built using HTML5 and is, of course, also playable on mobile devices.
